The Deputy Chairman of the Agalawatta Pradeshiya Sabha resigns.

Indika Jayalath, who served as the Deputy Chairman of the Agalawatta Pradeshiya Sabha, has decided to resign from his post.

He has submitted his resignation in a letter to the Chairman.

He has mentioned many issues in the letter, including the failure of the Agalawatta urban plan, the failure to bring a court complex to Agalawatta and the failure to provide space for a new police station, the failure to establish a shopping center in the Yatiyana area, and the failure to remove the disaster management building.

He has also further mentioned in the letter sent to the Chairman that he will resign from the Finance and Policy Committee and the Industrial Services Committee.
