The Cabinet has approved the allocation of a portion of the lands and properties under the Sri Lanka State Plantations Corporation, Janatha Estate Development Board and Elkaduwa Plantation Company, which are under the Ministry of Plantations and Community Infrastructure, to the private sector.
It is reported that the allocation is in accordance with the approval given at the Cabinet meeting held on 2025-06-02 to provide private investors with land that has not been properly developed and utilized for investment.
