Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Secretary General Advocate Sagara Kariyawasam said that since Justice Minister Wijedasa Rajapaksa is working as the chairman of another party, disciplinary action will be taken against him.
He mentioned this while speaking to the media after the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna’s Executive Council Politburo meeting today (07).
He says that the announcement that Wijedasa Rajapaksa has obtained the chairmanship of another party is a violation of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna party constitution.
Therefore, Mr. Kariyawasam further mentioned that the matters related to this matter have been referred to the Disciplinary Board today and that they will deal with it in the future and take action against Mr. Wijedasa Rajapaksa.
