The magisterial inquest into the death of former Sri Lankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena was called before Colombo Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena today (05).
At that time, the evidence given by President’s Counsel Rienzi Arsakularatne, who appeared in a case filed against the deceased Kapila Chandrasena by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, and Udara Muhandiram, who acted as his junior lawyer, was recorded.
Thereafter, the court also recorded the evidence given by the OIC of the Kollupitiya Police Station regarding the incident and after the Magistrate ordered to adjourn the examination of further evidence regarding this mysterious death until the 9th.
