Foreign media reports that a strong earthquake has occurred near the island of Sumatra in Indonesia .
It is also stated that this earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 on the Richter scale has occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers from the ground level. However, it is reported that no life or property damage has been caused due to the earthquake.
