The President is going to make a special statement after the Parliament meeting today (22) at 9.30 am. After that, it is reported that the agreement of the International Monetary Fund is to be presented to the Parliament.
The International Monetary Fund’s Executive Committee has now approved the release of the comprehensive credit facility provided to support Sri Lanka’s economic policies and reforms in 48 installments. According to the International Monetary Fund, the first installment will be released today or tomorrow (23).
