The body of former Sri Lankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena is currently being laid to rest at a private funeral home in Borella. Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, who arrived there this morning, paid his last respects to Kapila Chandrasena.
Speaking to the media, he said that Kapila Chandrasena was a friend of his and a capable officer who had done something for the country.
He also stated that he has been asked to appear before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption to give a statement regarding the Airbus deal.
