The vote to adopt a joint resolution on the position that the Board of Directors of Sri Lanka Cricket should resign was held today (09) in the Parliament. All the members present in the parliamentary chamber at that moment have unanimously expressed their wish. Accordingly, the proposals were passed today with the agreement of all members of parliament.
However, it is also special that no member of JVP did not participated in the poll.
It was decided in the party leaders’ meeting held yesterday (08) to bring a joint resolution that the governing body of Sri Lanka Cricket should withdraw.
