The Sri Lanka Navy has safely brought 204 crew members from the Iranian ship ‘IRIS Bushehr’, which was anchored near the Sri Lankan territorial waters, to the Colombo Port, the Navy’s media spokesperson said.
Making a special statement in this regard, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said yesterday (5) that the crew members of the ship will be brought to the Colombo Port, after undergoing a health check-up, and will be detained at the Welisara Naval Base. He also said that the ship ‘IRIS Bushehr’ will be brought to the Trincomalee Port.
