According to police sources, a father and a daughter resident of Kelaniya Gonawala area were killed in a car accident at Ederamulla railway crossing this morning.
It is reported that the accident took place when a car traveling from Ederamulla towards Wattala collided with the train traveling from Badulla towards Colombo while the signal lights were on at the railway crossing. Ederamulla police are conducting further investigations.
