It is reported that a schoolgirl has lost her life after being hit by a private bus in Kurunduwatta area of Gampola. The police say that a ten-year-old girl has died.
The accident happened when the girl who came from the same bus got off the bus and crossed the road in front of the bus. Both the driver and the conductor have been arrested by the police in connection with the accident.
