US President Donald Trump has decided to impose a 25% special tariff on goods imported into the US from countries that have all kinds of commercial relations with Iran.
The President has emphasized that the imposition of these new tariffs will be effective immediately.
In a statement issued through his ‘Truth Social’ account, Trump has said that the US is ready to intervene militarily if the Iranian regime takes steps to kill protesters in the country. Iran has also said that if such intervention is carried out, it will attack pro-American states led by Israel.
