With the announcement of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, new hopes are emerging for peace in the Gaza Strip.
Accordingly, the remaining 13 Israeli hostages kidnapped by Hamas and held for two years have been handed over to the Israeli army through the International Committee of the Red Cross. Accordingly, today (13), all 20 surviving hostages were handed over to the Israeli army and are scheduled to be sent for medical examinations.
It is also reported that 1,966 Palestinian prisoners who were to be released as part of the exchange have been taken from Israeli prisons by bus and handed over to the Red Cross.
