KD Lalkantha, the former Member of Parliament of Janatha Vimukti Peramuna said that he does not agree to hold a continuous strike at this moment. He also claims that his party does not want a continuous strike in the health service.
He further said that the rulers will get space to push the people and the strikers to a point of conflict. He said this at a conference organized in Colombo by the Union of Trade Unions, which is on strike. Secretary of Government Medical Officers Association Haritha Aluthge, Professor G.L.
