Lalkanta teaches doctors how to strike in times of crisis

KD Lalkantha, the former Member of Parliament of Janatha Vimukti Peramuna said that he does not agree to hold a continuous strike at this moment. He also claims that his party does not want a continuous strike in the health service.

He further said that the rulers will get space to push the people and the strikers to a point of conflict. He said this at a conference organized in Colombo by the Union of Trade Unions, which is on strike. Secretary of Government Medical Officers Association Haritha Aluthge, Professor G.L. Peiris, Professor Channa Jayasumana, Duminda Nagamuwa and others participated.
