The Venerable Itthekande Saddhatissa Thero said that the future political path of the People’s Front has already been planned and that his aim is to make Namal Rajapaksa the President of the country in 2029.
Thero further stated that all the necessary plans have already been made for that and that those plans will be implemented before another year has passed.
Commenting on the program being implemented by the current government against the Rajapaksas, the Venerable said the following.
“We love Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa. If the government thinks that they can take back his official residences, reduce his security and isolate him and hurt him, this government cannot do that. Also, we will not allow them to embarrass him by summoning him to the Bribery Commission. No one can isolate Mr. Mahinda and we will not allow that.”
