National People’s Powers Party leader MP Dilith Jayaweera said that the government has no program. He said this while addressing Parliament today.
He said that the government that came to power after cleaning the Parliament by holding a Shramadan has only been able to dismantle the three-wheelers by saying Clean Sri Lanka, and that the government has only been able to kill the dreams of the people.
He said that if you have seen the income and expenditure report with your own eyes, you will understand that it is impossible to fulfill any of the promises made in the past elections, and pointed out that no idea has been presented so far regarding a program to fulfill them.
He requested that the people not do stupid things and do what was promised to them and reveal how they are being done, and if they cannot do so, they should publicly express their regret about it to the people.
When he made these comments in Parliament today, there were strong protests from ruling party members.
