An individual has entered the home of an American who works as a consultant at the American Embassy in Colombo and stolen nearly two hundred thousand US dollars.
The Cinnamon Gardens Police say that the American resided in a house in Barnes Place, Colombo 7. The money was stolen by breaking a window.
The police, who are investigating a complaint in this regard, suspect that a drug addict may have committed the theft.
