The Immigration and Emigration Department announces the implementation of the new visa system in Sri Lanka, along with the introduction of a new online system starting today (17).
The E-Visa system, designed to replace the current ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) system, is being launched in collaboration with GBS Technology Service & IVS Global.
People can access the system via the web link www.srilankaevisa.lk.
Details regarding the new visa system, including requirements, fees, and duration of stay in Sri Lanka, have been published in a special gazette dated 27.11.2023, available for download on the website www.documents.gov.lk.
