Nalaka Jayalath, the manager of the ”Asahawari” music group, was called to the Criminal Investigation Department to respond to a complaint lodged by the parents of one of the band members.
The parents of the band’s drummer filed a complaint with the Criminal Investigation Department, alleging that despite their child working for the band throughout the night, she was paid as little as 2000 rupees.
In response to this accusation, the band’s manager, Nalaka Jayalath, stated that the most significant wrongdoing he had committed was forming the band. He also mentioned that all the parents of the children in the group had been very cooperative, and this allegation had arisen from the perants of just one girl.
