Minister of Electricity and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera said that he discussed with the Resident Representative of the United Nations, Marc Andre Franche, about a way to provide relief to the electricity bills paid by low-income families.
The minister further said that in this discussion, attention was also paid to the green financing facilities available to Sri Lanka for renewable energy projects.
This discussion was held today (18) at the Ministry of Power and Energy.
