The International Monetary Fund is willing to help Sri Lanka in this crisis situation, but the collection of taxes in Sri Lanka is not satisfactory, said the delegation of the fund, which is visiting the country, in a press conference held today in Colombo.
The delegation said that some positive signs can be seen in the Sri Lankan economy and mentioned that the issue of tax collection may delay the release of the second loan installment.
