The hearing of the petition began yesterday before a five-member Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice Preethi Padman Surasena.
Yesterday (01), lawyers presented arguments to the court on behalf of several parties who filed the petitions, and Additional Solicitor General Viraj Dayaratne presented arguments on behalf of the Attorney General.
