The Great Western body is identified by a tattoo .

The Lidula police said that the body found by the Lindula police on the top of the Great Western mountain in Talawakele yesterday was handed over to her Nityanukula husband and relatives.

Her husband has identified the dead woman’s body from the tattoo on her left hand with the word “Madusankha”. Investigations are being conducted to arrest the people who came with this woman to the Great Western mountain peak.

Police Inspector Sisira Kumara said that Junaid Krishani’s fingerprints were sent to the fingerprint register office of the Police Department and she was identified as a relative of the deceased woman.

The forensic doctor of the Nuwara Eliya District General Hospital, who conducted the post-mortem examination on Krishani’s body, suspects that this was a murder.
