The government does not want to create a homosexual inclination.

Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa says that the opposition is opposing the education reforms because if those reforms are implemented, they will not be able to implement their old politics again.

He said that words like selling education and privatization would come to the fore with the previous education reforms and said that Sajith Premadasa has found a new word for the current education reform.

He said that when Sajith Premadasa introduced the word obscenity for the education reforms, Wimal Weerawansa used it in the vernacular.

He further said that the link given in a lesson on finding a friend for children in the Grade 6 English module has become a problem, but it is a straightforward act.

The Minister pointed out that it is up to the National Institute of Education to take disciplinary action in this regard, and pointed out that it is inappropriate to call all education reforms vulgar because the name of an inappropriate website is mentioned in one place.

He said that the government has no desire to create any kind of homosexual inclination, and if there was a desire to do so, the website link would not be mentioned in only one place.
