The Easter proceedings filed against Maitri are adjourned

The Court of Appeal today ordered the Fort Magistrate to keep the personal complaints against former prasident maithripala sirisena regarding the Easter attack in the Fort Magistrate’s Court without summons until heard and a final decision is announced the writ petition submitted by him.

The Court of Appeal has today decided to hear the writ petition filed by former President Maithripala Sirisena to nullify the personal complaints filed against him regarding the Easter Sunday terror attack before a panel of five judges. At that time the above order was issued to the Fort Magistrate
