The hearing of the petitions filed regarding the Central Bank Amendment Bill ended yesterday. The bench announced that its decision will be communicated to the Speaker through a confidential document.
The court, which concluded the hearing related to the petitions, also informed the parties to file written speeches by the 27th. The three-judge bench of the Supreme Court thanked Central Bank Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe for participating in the trial.
