The Acting IGP has issued special instructions to officers on traffic duty on how to proceed when stopping vehicles at night.
The relevant traffic officer should wear a luminous jacket and luminous gloves that reflect light so that drivers can see them clearly, and it is said that the relevant officers have been instructed to use the red flashlights currently issued to police stations as much as possible to stop vehicles.
The Acting IGP has also instructed that the headquarters police inspectors, OICs and traffic OICs should constantly monitor whether the officers on night duty are acting in this manner.
