The Cabinet has approved giving SriLankan Airlines operations at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in France to two French companies.
Accordingly, passenger services, ground handling, and cargo handling at the airport will be carried out by these two companies.
The tender was called under a limited international bidding system, and four companies submitted bids. Based on recommendations, the Cabinet approved the proposal by the Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation.
Passenger and ground handling services were awarded to Groupe Europe Handling for 7.73 million Euros for three years starting from 1 April 2026.
Cargo handling services were awarded to France Handling Cargo for three years starting from 1 February 2026 at a value of 1.90 million Euros.
