Sri Lanka won the match against Scotland by 10 wickets to qualify for the 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup.
Batting first in the match held in Abu Dhabi, Scotland were bowled out for 94 runs in 18.1 overs. Kaweesha Dilhari managed to take 4 wickets for 13 runs.
Chasing an easy target of 95 runs, the Sri Lankan players passed the set target without losing anyone in 10 overs.
Skipper Chamari Athapattu scored 59 runs unbeaten, while Vishmi Gunaratne scored 24 runs unbeaten.
