In the science question paper of this year’s G.C.E O/L, the examination department has decided to give free marks to several questions.
This decision was taken on the basis that several questions in the multiple question paper did not complete the essential learning activities. Information was shared on social media about a problematic situation in the regular science question paper held last week.
That is, some questions in the science question paper are prepared outside the essential learning content.
Examination commissioner Amit Jayasundara said that they will give some free marks based on the incident.
