President Ranil Wickramasinghe says that the best TV drama in Sri Lanka is the Parliament broadcast.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe mentioned this while addressing the 20th Raigam Teles Awards ceremony held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo last night (30).
President Ranil Wickramasinghe commented here
“I would like to say here that this is a really good TV drama that you have not included in the Raigam Teles gift list. It is the best tele drama in Sri Lanka. I think this has been shown the most. It has been shown not on one channel but on all channels for about 03 years. Everyone hopes. Give it a gift too. That is the parliament. Who doesn’t watch? Do you see one? How many people come ready to act in this from the opposition? Some people say that when speaking English, even Shakespeare has to learn it. If Martin Wickramasinghe comes over, he will have to learn Sinhala again.”
