It is reported that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modhi joined a special Deva Pooja yesterday. The foreign media reports that this puja has been made for Lord Krishna in the Arabian Sea off the state of Gujarat.
The puja was held at the ancient Dwarka temple located underwater off the coast of Gujarat in the Arabian Sea. This ancient Dwarka temple was once a thriving city and is believed to have sunk into the sea centuries ago.
Prime Minister Modi has participated in the puja carrying peacock feathers as a symbolic tribute to Lord Krishna and a video of it has also been uploaded on social media (watch the video below).
The Prime Minister attended the puja in a diving suit and was assisted by divers and guards.
