The service of the constable of the Suriyakanda Police Station who was involved in a clash with National People’s Forces MP Shantha Padmakumara has been suspended pending further investigations, Police Media Spokesperson F.U. Wutler said.
The police constable who was arrested in connection with the clash with the MP was granted bail by the Embilipitiya Court yesterday.
