Namal addresses the media from Ranil’s office.

The anti-government rally scheduled to be held in Nugegoda on November 21st is aimed at reminding the people of the promises made by the government, said Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna MP Namal Rajapaksa. He said this while speaking to the media following a discussion held at former President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s party office on Mal Road yesterday.

Speaking further, he said that various opposition parties are already participating in discussions regarding the rally on the 21st.

He said that in the past, discussions were held only within the SLFP, and now that situation has changed and discussions are being held with all opposition parties. “Many people who have been affected by the government’s policies will also join this rally, and accordingly, the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and the United National Party and many other parties have agreed to join the rally,” he said.
