The Taliban’s religious police have banned music in Afghanistan. According to the foreign media, the officers are searching the wedding halls in Kabul and enforcing the ban on playing music that is said to be against Islamic rulings.
In addition, the religious police of the Taliban are working to publicly burn many seized musical instruments.
