It is reported that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has not received any invitation to the National Victory Day celebration to be held tomorrow (19). When asked about this, the former President’s Media Secretary, Attorney-at-Law Manoj Gamage, confirmed the same.
The political leadership required to end the war was provided by former President Makinda Rajapaksa, while Gotabaya Rajapaksa, a former President, served as the Defense Secretary.
