Indian Vice President Sri C. P. Radhakrishnan is expected to pay a two-day official visit to Sri Lanka from the 19th to the 20th, it is reported. A high-level delegation from the Indian government is expected to join the visit, embassy sources say.
During the visit, the Vice President is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister Harini Amarasooriya.
This can be seen as another step forward in the recent high-level diplomatic relations that will further strengthen the long-standing relations between Sri Lanka and India, embassy sources say.
