Sri Lanka should not be allowed to suffer the fate of Bangladesh, said United Republic Front Member of Parliament Patali Champika Ranawaka.
Addressing a public meeting, he said that Bangladesh is moving towards instability, further reversing its economic momentum.
He said that if the activists of the struggle had stormed the parliament and demolished the building, Sri Lanka would have become a country like Bangladesh today.
