If Harini is removed from the post, two-thirds of the government will end.

Former Parliamentarian Premanath Dolawatta states that there has been a division of power in the government since Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya stated in Parliament that the Supreme Sat satellite did not cost government money and that it has generated a lot of revenue for Sri Lanka.

He says that the MPs representing the JVP in the National People’s Power government are pressuring President Anura Dissanayake to remove the Prime Minister from the post, and at the same time, fifty-four MPs from the current government will become independent, expressing support for the Prime Minister.

Accordingly, if Harini Amarasuriya is removed from the post of Prime Minister, he says that the government will clearly lose two-thirds of its power.

He said that the Prime Minister had revealed the true status of the Supreme Sat satellite, and that the story of the hidden dollars in the Tusadawa was also admitted by the person who told it. He stated that the government, which lied to gain power, had deceived the people of the country.
