High blood pressure for all the C.T.B drivers of Kuliyapitiya

In a recent health examination conducted by the Kuliapitiya Medical Officer’s Office, it was revealed that drivers and traders at the Kuliapitiya bus stand are at high risk of suffering from high blood pressure.

According to officials, all the C.T.B workers who were tested were found to be suffering from high blood pressure, which puts them at risk of heart disease.

In response to these findings, officials are planning to hold a medical clinic soon to conduct formal medical examinations for all langama workers and private bus owners in the area.

Nurse K.A. Nilanthi, Public Health Inspector Sanjay Vanninayake, Officer-in-Charge Samith Kure, and a team including the Municipal Council’s Health Officer organized this health clinic.
