Due to the continuous rains of the last few days, the mountain roads are in serious danger. The Hatton police said that a large area near the Ginigathhena Hindu temple on the Colombo-Hatton A7 road has been sunked yesterday morning due to heavy rains last night as well.
Hatton Police are warning motorists to take care when using the road as a single lane has been opened for road repairs, but a cave-in has occurred in a previously eroded area.
