Postmaster General S.R.W.M.R.P. Sathkumara has issued a statement cancelling the leave of all officers from the 17th.
According to the relevant statement, the leave of all officers serving in the Postal Department has been cancelled and all Deputy Postmasters, Chief Accountant, Chief Internal Auditor, Chief Accountant (Stamps) of the Postal Department have been informed to inform all relevant officers.
Copies of the letter have also been sent to the Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Mass Media and all heads of institutions related to the postal service.
