A former Cabinet Minister has been summoned by the CID to appear before the CID on Monday in connection with the Weligama W-15 shooting incident.
A group including IGP Deshabandu Tennakoon was arrested in connection with this investigation, Deshabandu Tennakoon has been remanded in custody and the other suspects have been granted bail.
However, police sources say that the former Minister is being questioned in this manner on suspicion that he may have information regarding this incident.
