A fire has broken out at a tyre manufacturing factory in Horana. The fire that broke out this morning at the factory located in the Vavulagala Industrial Estate is reportedly still spreading.
The Horana Municipal Council Fire Department, the police and local residents are working together to put out the fire, and there is a risk of the fire spreading to nearby factories, our correspondents say.
