Starlink expects to start services in Sri Lanka in 2024, pending regulatory approval.

Starlink’s Internet Constellation is one of the greatest achievements in commercial satellite history. It orbits the Earth much lower than conventional satellites and offers faster performance with broadband capability.
Earlier, President Ranil Wickremesinghe stated that Elon Musk has sent an application to launch Starlink service in Sri Lanka and that the preliminary work to bring Starlink to Sri Lanka has been completed.
