As a first step, 04 main elephant routes will be gazetted, says Deputy Minister of Environment Anton Jayakody.
These elephant routes will be gazetted, centered around Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa districts. The Deputy Minister of Environment states that this decision was taken with the aim of controlling elephant-human conflict.
