It is reported that many heads of the Public Corporations Department have requested the Ministry of Finance to transfer their accounts in the People’s Bank to other banks. They say that many problems have arisen due to the people’s bank officials not being able to maintain their financial affairs due to the strike, and they are making this request considering the situation.
The President has also instructed the Finance Ministry authorities to pay special attention to that request. Market sources say that if the situation continues like this, many accounts of private businessmen will have to be withdrawn from the bank.
