Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Dayasiri Jayasekara says that he expected that the privileges of the Parliament would be reduced under the National Peoples Power government.
He says that he used to eat lunch only on certain days in the Parliament in the past and never had breakfast. However, the MPs of the NPP have now reached the point where they can eat in the Parliament both in the morning and at noon, but have to wrapped the dinner too
He further said that this situation had arisen earlier when 39 MPs were elected from the JVP.
He expressed these views to the media while returning after concluding the Parliament session yesterday.
