To start a Forum of Parliamentarians for Economic Justice . It is reported that the initial negotiations have been successfully completed. It has been reported that the Member of Parliament lawyer Dayasiri Jayasekara has requested written permission and cooperation from Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena to start this forum.
The article emphasizes that in solving the current economic crisis in Sri Lanka, economic and social justice should be achieved for the common Sri Lankan people and it is the need of the hour to create a forum of parliamentarians to intervene for that without party differences.
Therefore, in his letter, MP Dayasiri Jayasekara requests the speaker to do the necessary work for the creation of that forum.
